When Barbara Hepworth started using ‘holes’ in her sculpture, she not only created something new in sculpture but also threw a challenge to painting. How to open up painting in different directions and perhaps dimensions like Barbara Hepworth did? In my latest series entitled MIRRORS I use mirrors, painted holes, drips etc. They are all 80 X 80 X 4 cm. on canvas.
